1. Introduction

Welcome to the Beta version of Canwi, provided by Canwi Australia Pty Ltd ("Canwi," "we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Canwi website (“the site”), you agree to these terms and conditions (“Terms”) and any applicable policies or guidelines. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must cease use of Canwi immediately.


2. Participation in the Beta

2.1 The Canwi Beta is provided for the purpose of testing and improving the platform before its full release. During the Beta phase:

  • Features may be incomplete or subject to change.

  • Functionality may be limited or unstable.

  • Calculations and projections may be unreliable.

  • Service interruptions may occur without notice.

  • As part of the Beta testing, you may provide feedback or suggestions regarding the platform. By submitting feedback, you grant Canwi the right to use, modify, and incorporate your feedback into the platform without any obligation or compensation to you.

2.2 Beta Transition:

  • Users will automatically transition to the regular/non-beta service upon Beta completion.

  • Notice will be provided before transition.

  • Updated terms may apply post-Beta.

  • Some features may change or be discontinued.


3. No Financial Advice

3.1 Canwi explicitly does not provide:

  • Financial advice.

  • Investment advice.

  • Tax advice.

  • Legal advice.

  • Personal recommendations.

3.2 The Platform is an informational and educational tool only. Before making any financial decisions, you should:

  • Consult with qualified professional advisors.

  • Conduct your own research.

  • Consider your personal circumstances.

  • Verify all information independently.


4. Calculators and Projections

4.1 The Platform provides various financial calculators and projection tools ("Calculators") for informational purposes only. These Calculators:

  • Have not been independently verified or tested.

  • May contain errors or inaccuracies.

  • Should not be relied upon for making financial decisions.

  • Are based on general assumptions that may not apply to your specific situation.

  • Generate projections that are estimates only and not guarantees of future outcomes.

4.2 The accuracy of Calculator results depends entirely on the accuracy and completeness of the information you input. You are solely responsible for verifying all inputs and outputs.


5. Information and Data Sources

5.1 The Platform provides various reference data and information, including but not limited to:

  • Average loan interest rates.

  • Average costs for life events.

  • Market statistics and trends.

  • Superannuation information.

5.2 This information:

  • Is sourced from third parties over whom we have no control.

  • May be outdated or inaccurate.

  • Should be independently verified before being relied upon.

  • Is not specific to your circumstances.


6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Canwi:

  • Makes no warranties about the accuracy of Calculator results.

  • Is not responsible for decisions made using Service information.

  • Disclaims liability for any financial losses.

  • Is not liable for errors in third-party data.

  • Does not guarantee the availability or reliability of the Platform.

6.2 You acknowledge that:

  • Calculator results are estimates only.

  • Financial markets are inherently unpredictable.

  • Past performance is not indicative of future results.

  • Your actual results may differ significantly from projections.


7. User Obligations

7.1 You agree to:

  • Verify all information independently.

  • Use the Platform as an educational tool only.

  • Not rely solely on Platform calculations for financial decisions.

  • Keep account credentials secure.

  • Report any calculation or system errors discovered.


8. Restrictions

The Canwi Beta is not intended for:

  • Individuals under 18 years of age.

  • Non-residents (of Australia) for tax purposes.

  • Working Holiday Makers.

  • Individuals requiring accessibility tools not yet supported by the Beta version (e.g., screen readers, keyboard-only navigation).

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying ideas.


9. Access and Availability

9.1 Canwi reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Beta or any part of the site without notice.

9.2 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Beta at our sole discretion, for any reason, including non-compliance with these Terms.

9.3 We do not guarantee that the site will be available at all times or free from interruptions or errors. Canwi is not liable for any downtime or loss of functionality.


10. Data and Privacy

10.1 By using the Canwi Beta, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10.2 While Canwi employs industry-standard security measures, no platform can guarantee absolute data security. By using the Beta, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of transmitting data online, including the possibility of unauthorized access, interception, or loss.


11. Intellectual Property Rights

11.1 All content and materials on the site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Canwi and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

11.2 You may not copy, distribute, or use any of Canwi's intellectual property without prior written consent.


12. General

12.1 If any term or provision of these Terms of Use is held by a court to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable under the applicable law, that term or provision will be severed from this agreement, and the remaining terms and conditions will be unaffected.

12.2 Unless stated otherwise in the Terms, we may vary these Terms by providing 7 days' advance notice via the Website or by any other means, at any time.

12.3 You will be taken to have accepted any changes to the Terms by continuing to use the Website 7 days after that notice is provided.

12.4 We may vary these Terms immediately without advance notice to protect the security or integrity of the Website, comply with laws or regulations, or manage technical or system faults.

12.5 These Terms of Use are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
